"I downloaded it. I selected open. I never did know what happened to it. I selected search for mirascan. My little doggie found one mirascan file which was a file size of 12kb. When I tried to open it, My computer didn't recognize it.

There is a Window XP driver on the download section. However, in the scanner there is an EPROM chip that may be to old to accept the lastest driver. Since the scanner is out of production since year 2000, there is not updated hardware available for these model and all the acer model.

"Well, this is the updated Xp driver. It works, but...

If it askes for the file "EPP2k.inf", browse manually to the INF folder in your windows directory.

You must also REBOOT after the install. It wont prompt you to in Xp.

Also must turn scanner on before computer
