"installed but won't know if it's worked til i've used the systme for a week or so, also notes stated to delete sausb.sys, couldn't find this file on my system??????

but it's installed now so just hoping no more blue screens."

"I found the comment from Charles Wilt very helpful because I too have a Lexar Combo digital film reader. I didn't have AIM so that didn't have anything to do with the problem. I unplugged the reader, uninstalled the Film Reader (there was an uninstall on the Start Menu) and then installed the driver setup, restarted the computer but it didn't find the Reader because it

"Worked great W/XP on New Media Film Reader USB (they're out of business). Just left an icon (of a hard drive) to "safely remove hardwear" in my Quick Launch tool bar which I can live with. Any one knows how to remove it?"

"I have a Lexar Combo digital film reader. Lexar doesn't have an XP driver for this on there site. Trying to use the Win2000 driver gave me the same error on shutdown described above. Oddly, it only happens when AIM is installed. So I downloaded this just to see what would happen. After uninstalling my Lexar driver and unplugging my read, I installed this driver. Afte

"usbxp.exe didn't work for me. I unexpanded the files by clicking setup.exe. At the end, I was asked to reboot. After rebooting, XP insisted on installing the scanner. I pointed the wizard to the folder where I expanded the files, but XP didn't find anything it liked. So now I have a big yellow ? in my Device Manager and no working scanner. I tried uninstalling and rei

"Manys thanks!!! Since downloading and installing this driver I have NOT had any more blue screens of death appear when shutting down, not once."
