"This driver will only work if you have a graphics program to run it through e.g. Paintshop pro or Adobe Photoshop. The file you download will only install the drivers onto your system for other programs to use. You CANNOT open the scan program directly (like the disks you get when you buy the scanner). This driver does work with windows XP Pro and is compatible with most

"I istalled the driver. No problem with setup, thanks. But it doesn't work with my XP home edition. When I start PrimaPAGE 98 I get the Error message "FineReader main executive checked a problem". Prima official site is crap."

"Brilliant. Even works when half-drunk. I dowloaded, used Windows XP to unzip, logged in as administrator on XP pro to setup, then installed taskbridge, but not the other Primax crap. Worked immediately. Not impressed with Primax official site at all"

"I installed colorado direct 9600 softwear from cd then downloaded this driver, opened the zip file clicked on the setup icon ,It setup the driver,Then you must shut down windows xp restart then it worked great!!!!! thanks a lot ppl , MEGA"

"Spot on.Spent ages looking for drivers to run my direct 9600 on xp home.Downloaded the file,used original disc to install just scanner and taskbridge software,opened the zip folder and then the setup file, restarted, ding dong, working just like it did when I was using 98. Ta."
