"This was the only varation of the HSP56 Audio Modem Riser that Windows XP will accept, I have the Orginal BookPC drivers but only some of them go up to 2000Pro compatiablity.

Very happy with the results."

"Tried and tried to get a driver working with the HSP56 AudioModem Riser from PCTEL on an oldish machine (Bought 1999 - 433MHz) on which recently upgraded to WinXP. This one worked for me."

"only if have dual boot win98 and xp on same partition. when downloading (put in mydocuments) dont do other task while downloading could corrupt it, when done dont open close and restart in xp( in xp click start, right click my comp, right click properties, click hardware, click device manager, right click should be pci communication device or whatever modem is, then right

"i wonder this is my third modem driver i wonder if it is corrupt or bad or wrong hsp56 audio modem riser for my com4 from pctel i don't open in win98 since no zip i close after finished then restart to win xp wich has built in zip maybe 3 times a charm i hope."
