Having troubles getting your fm801 working with windows xp. Try this driver. I had great difficult when window xp came out finding a driver that worked. I stumbled across this driver and its works fine no problems. With other xp drivers I've had windows crashing all the time!

"My device isn't PCI, but onboard chips W83971D & W83977TF-AW (Winbond manufacturer). Nevertheless, this driver works exellent!"

How to Update FM801 PCI Audio (WDM) Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
