"Agred. Had to do a manual install on a Dell D600, using the option "Don't Search. I will choose the driver to install". Then I chose the Broadcom 802.11a/b/g WLAN, then browsed to where the files had unzipped."

"I have BCM4318 (on the chip) . I used update driver via device manager and choosed location had unzipped this file, beware if say automatic install then iffy windows tries installing as a dell one and it is not and BCM4318 does not work with dell driver , this driver works great and i would recommend , beware do not download update from windows as will mess it up and think

is dell wireless one(its not its broadcom). FINAL SAY Driver Good, Stable and works on xp no probs ,JUST DO NOT overwrite or try windows driver update after"
