"Unable to get the scanner to work, a screen comes up with twain driver errors. As the supplied software was not modern enough to suit Win XP I thought that the download might help, it didn't.

Sorry to be nagative, the file was found quickly enough, downloaded well, but made no difference to the problem.

"GRR! Why is this such an issue?? As David (above) said...I have been working, in detail with computers for years. I can usually troubleshoot just about anything. Drivers are typically a snap to download...I have now downloaded 6 different files (different names) that all ended up being these two files, and THEY DON'T WORK!!! Can we please make a simple driver for Win2k and

"Doesn't work on XP. I 've already tried install from Canon home page. Install Wizard on PC needs "FB62Pcpl.cpl" file, but I haven't been able to it locate anywhere."

"Works only if printer is off. Whenever printer is on, scanner generates error message and will not work until re-boot with printer off."
