"Computer says the camera is working. The software even pops up on its own when the camera is turned on, but it still will not recognize the camera. Another photo software says TWAIN error. Does anybody know what to do."

"well...finally i got the camera to work...i followed instruction for download...then used the disk that came with camera and intalled the program. *now it didnt work at this time untill i tried this.. i right clicked on My Computer clicked on properties selected Hardware went to device manager i double clicked on yellow question mark and followed the instruction. I hope

"I found this site after I ordered the drivers for XP from HP (kinda makes me sick) Anyways thanks for the driver. It worked like a charm. (I installed the original drivers from the CD that came with the cam then updated with these. Right click on the .inf file and click "install" and it should work)"

"It worked fine for me. Camera is working fine in xp. When loading driver,if it wants another .dll, put your photosmart cd in cdrom drive and all is well."

"You can't even override this, we need the setup files and so on drag the whole cd contents off the cd and compress it to a zip, that would help all of us out! and we'd all be much obliged"
