"Im kindof a dummy when it comes to computers.

I have a CanoScan FB620U scanner that i have lost the driver cd for.(moved)

I had to reformat, so i had to download the driver from Canon . i didnt have the scanner hooked up when i downloaded the driver(i know im a dummy:)

I hit open instead of save(dummy) so do i have to do it all over again with the scanner hooked u

"Before downloading this driver, i installed the one uploaded by Kelly, then my Pc started to lock up and crash. Kelly is a liar, he promised the FB620U drivers for Win XP, but he just gave the FB630U drivers. I am very happy with this driver, the only thing I can say is: THANK YOU!!! IT REALLY WORKS!!!. [The Zpy Brain]"

"I have a Canoscan FB620U. It worked on my old computer with Windows98. I bought a new computer with WindowsXP. I plugged the Canoscan into a USB port. "Found new hardware" wizard appeared. When I tried to install the driver which came on the original CD - Windows XP warned that it may not be compatible. So I unplugged the Canoscan and searched the Internet for a driver.

"This driver worked great for me. The trick is to extract the file first, then install the scanner from the device manager. Also, Marie is correct--you'll also need the toolbox file."

"I have tried this several times. I can not make it work. I have uninstalled the previous version but still no luck. HELP! My scanner worked with 2000 until this week. Now I get a message that I ahve no registered applications. I even reinstalled office HELP!!!"

"I have downloaded this driver before and still the scanner will not work. I had no problems when running windows 98.I have gotten an error saying, EPS parser plugin needed etc. It points me to get a patch for photo deluxe home edition 3.x & photo deluxe business ed.1.x. The other problem I have is when I went to delete the scanner from my hardware manager it would not let

"Hi, This appears to be the same file I have downloaded from the Cannon site. It appears to be the help instructions for loading the driver. It doesn't seem to be the actual driver for this scanner. When I go through the process of trying to load the driver, I get the message that the wizard cannot find a driver for this scanner. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in a
