"It could not update the flash in XP, Had to use win98 to upgrade.. (then got stuck with 1.08v because the flashtool would only recognise the cd rom type CD4201 in XP)"

"this doesnt install the driver it updates the firmware of the drive, usless if your having trouble getting xp to reconize things"

"This did not work for my philips CDD4851 either. It froze Windows XP and I had to return my computer to the last working settings."
