"Will not work with Vista. The hardware was advertised as working with Vista, but the software is proving very elusive. Running a Google search for it you'll get nothing but garbage. The device will be identified as a RealTek item, but then if you find the specific model number of Asus A7V8 is will call it SoundMax. The SoundMax software will say "not compatible with t
