This is the XA1FLASH.EXE BIOS update for 2137-E24 and 2137-E34 IBM Aptivas with a BIOS ID of "JW3EN2E". There r two possible BIOS upgrades available for the IBM models in question, E26FIX.EXE, or XA1FLASH.EXE. The one u need is determined by your BIOS level (number). So, step 1 is to determine your BIOS ID:

1. Power the system down normally.

2. Power the system on. Press F1 when you see the IBM Aptiva splash screen come up.

3. This will take u to the configuration utility.

3. In the configuration utility, go to the selection for "Product Information".

In the "product information" screen, you will see a reference to either "JW3EN2E", or "JW3EN3E".

For those of u with "JW3EN2E", XA1FLASH.EXE is the file u want
