"This is just the EXE portion of a set of files that would otherwise make up the Modem_ID_Wizard. On its own it doesn't work. When you try to launch it you get an error that reads "Problem finding necessary components. Please re-install and try again." There is obviously a missing set of installation files that are required for the wizard EXE to work."

"Both this Modem Identification Wizard and the ControlCenter (v.4.0.21.28) do NOT work on my WinXP Home Edition environment

"This program works perfectly in Windows 98. It does not work at all, or very well, in Windows XP. In XP it finds the modem but provides none of the details."
