"I needed this driver to support my Dell inspiron 3500's sound card, and it worked like a charm with windows xp, install was not easy, it just extracts the driver to a directory on the hard drive and you have to manually update the driver but other than that I am very satisfied."

"I HAVE A TECRA 8000 WITH A NEO MAGIC 256AV IM USING XP I HAVE TRIED TO USE THIS NEW DRIVER IT WORKS IN ONE WAY BUT NOT ANOTHER IT PUTS ACCROSS TO A TV SCREEN BUT IT STILL MAKES THE TV TOO BIG ONLY SLIGHTLY IM ALSO USING POWER STRIP TO AJUST THE RESOLUTION SIZE ANY IDEA'S WHAT I CAN DO TO MAKE THE TV THE SAME SIZE"

"I have an IBM thinkpad 600E with a Neomagic (NM2200) 256AV video chipset. Windows XP's built-in driver does NOT support TV-out at all (not sure about dual display, I'm not interested in that...) and is listed as version 5.31 or something similar. If you use this driver (or just go to the source at IBM (win2k driver version 5.39) www-3.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.

"It worked on Sony Vaio PGC-C1XD running XP Pro, CRT worked fine but TV Didn't fit ok to screen I think because the 1024x480 display of the laptop. When click on advanced properties on the NeoMagic new tab, I have a rundll32 error. All the other things were correct. Thank you!!!"

"To operate tv-out Go into BIOS and make sure to enable all the ports like parrelell, seriall, usb.. etc. It will work then"

"Works great. Can get this same driver at www.IBM.com just look for IBM thinkpad 570E. Driver is already implemented into windows XP. Doesn't support direct3D."
