"I tried several drivers with my Rockwell Soft56K Fax Modem and only this one worked under XP. The others appeared to install OK but I got a loud white noise type sound immediately after the modem made a connection which seemed to prevent any further data transfer even though the connection said it was live and the system said it was operating normally. "to install (sorry for my poor english) 1-first uninstall old drivers from control panel/intall application 2-open control panel/new hardware 3-select the periferal with yellow "?" which indicate unknown device 4-install driver selecting folders of new russian drivers."

"i hope this driver works..i ahve a generic softK56 modem VOICE,SPEAKERFONE,FAX but i ahve tried every driver online to get it working in XP but it just hasnt worked with anything thats why i have to revert to 2K to go online ( which sux! so i am praying this works! if it does you the best man!"

"This is a great driver! I just upgraded to XP (Probably a bad thing) but this driver works a beauty. I tried the 2K Driver from the CD (as XP was built on 2K Platform), but i had connection problems. I DON'T NOW!"
