This download contains the complete V2.4.1 software package for the Avaya 802.11a/b Platinum Card including the 802.11a/b driver (Version 2.4.1.21),the Avaya 802.11a/b Management Utility (Version 2.4.1.3, dated 07/11/03), the User's Guide and the Readme file. The supported operating systems include Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP.

This software is only for the Avaya 802.11a/b Platinum Card.

New Features in this release:

* Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) encryption using PassPhrase. Users enter a text string with at least 8 to 63 characters, it can be any combination of letters, numbers and other characters. To properly install the Avaya Wireless Platinum Card, Please run setup.exe. This will install the drivers as well as the Client Manager.<

  • In Windows 7, click Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager

  • In Windows Vista, click Start -> Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> Device Manager

  • In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
