"Years ago when I was using a pentium II with windows 98 SE, I needed this driver for my TX 100 EIDE board and disk adapter. It worked fine since then. I still use the card with a newer computer and win 2000. I have moved on to win XP and now VISTA, and a pentium IV and even to a dual processor."
