"My old ISA card was not recognised by OS, and some other drivers I tried could not determine the resource settings of the card (neither could I myself). This driver solved the problem."

"It really works. But, follow the instructions given by "Bernd P" (look other comments). I need to reebot my WinXP many times and after installed, my Scanner Genius HR5 was detectec a lot of times. In the end, all right. Be patient."

"Some additional Info about this card and the drivers The DTC 436E (also DMX 3181 as well as the UMAX uds-11 Card - same Chip -) Card must be set to NON-PNP Mode! "You did it. The driver comes up as a dtc3181x / dtc 3151x but found my astra 1220s after install To install I went to add new hardware chose search myself. scsi/ then have disk/ browsed to extracted file worked great"
