"Seems perfect at first, but then OS starts giving problems, ever increasing. (System is installed on a pair of individual HDDs rather than a RAID array, which MAY explain the problem but it OUGHT not be relevant). Problem could only be resolved by transferring system and data drives onto a shared standard IDE port, and making the CDROMs share the other port, rather than al

l four drives having separate ports. A second system using a different MoBo with HPT36x RAID ports is beginning to give exactly the same symptoms. Pity!"
