I use Windows XP, I had to manually load the drivers in conjuction with the Add new hardware wizard. I chose Sound and Audio Controllers, then ESS Technologies, and then chose from a list, the sound program that I needed. This is not a digitally signed driver for XP, but it appears to be working.
