The links above weren't working, and I finally found this DOS driver on one of the Sony sites that said it is used to get the Sony CDROM working in DOS so Windows can be installed. To download it from Sony go to sony.storagesupport.com/cdrom/software_dwn.htm
When you run the exe file it unzips about 11 files. Then run Install.exe and it will copy the needed sys file to your PC and modify autoexec.bat and config.sys. It seems to look for MSCDEX.EXE in the c \dos directory or folder. Good Luck
