"This driver didn't work for me. Trying to find something that will make by HP Scanjet 6100 work with Windows XP. I had it working, lost a hard drive and don't remember how I stumbled onto the solution."

"Driver went in nicely and was recognizsed immedately and installed by the XP system.

Only problem was that the Scanner was no good and "Blew Up".lol,really.

Nothind to do with the Driver, but sometimes you have to get it working to find out.

So the driver was great, too bad the scanner wasn't the same.

"Re sj167en.exe My hp 4c is connected to a server running windows 2000 and a scsi card. Will the driver operate properly? The current driver I am using is 6100C which I got from HP, however it won't allow me to save a tif file. I look for your reply. Thanks, Howard"

"Using an Adaptec AIC-7850. Will work fine with XP setup. After I install this driver it locks up and cannot find the scanner."
