"On WinXP with my configuration, the system can't shutdownand freeze on the window "Windows is closing".

To enable a correct shutdown of the system, i must deactivate the Device in the Device Control Manager before shutdown.

Perhaps, this is because this driver is not reconized by the system as an acpi controler."

Some issues with ACPI: inhibits the system hibernation (suspend to disk)."

"i've tried this driver too (i installed the win2000 driver under xp first) but it didn't work. so i changed the pci port and installed the xp driver again - now it works fine"
