"The program installed the scanner software OK once I renamed it FixWinXP.exe but I can't import the scanned output to Photoshop."

"Having had to re-install Windows XP I lost the original driver and now can't get a driver that will make my scanner work anymore. The driver on here loads to the hard drive but that's all. A total waste of time!"

"Unfortunately, I am using using this computer where access to the hard drive is not allowed (the attraction is that it is on broadband) so can only copy to A: and then unzip to the target computer.

I am trying to reinstate a Black Widow 1248 which no longer has an installation disc. any help appreciated. However, despite my immediate problem, this is a fantastic site.

"I have tried to install my scanner by using this link but its asking me to use the cd that came with the scanner, which i havent got. what 2 do now, i dont know????"

"downloaded xp driver works a treat but loaded new driver followed by the cd installation disc. Couldn't make it work the other way round. Thanks a million BJB"

"It worked just great saved me a least £200.00p for a new scanner. Just follow instructions at download and it works fine. thanks again"
