"The driver is listed in my hardware Mgr w/no adverse icons. However, the various software that enumerates the hardware doesn't see it...or sees it as a 'cirrus logic' device with bad drivers (maybe that's some other device in my pc, but I don't think so)....Jury's still out on this one with me....It may be necessary to install the applications to get this going.

at's the case then that's a poor design. Hardware devices are like newpaper headlines...they should be able to stand alone. I'm not 100% on this yet, but I'm not liking what I'm seeing so far....and worse, I cannot do anything about it."
