"This driver is only good if you have the QuickCam VC USB. If you have the QuickCam VC Parallel then you can download this driver and tweak it a bit to work perfectly. Either way this driver is exactly what I needed in order to make my device work."

"This works well and is the only way I can get my old Cam to run under WinXP even though Logitech sears that it wont run on xp. Ive had a couple of crashes but nothing major. I highly recomend this driver."

"This driver was a snap to install if you follow these easy steps. 1) plug the camera in the USB port.

2) wait for xp to find the PNP hardware

3) select where to find the drivers (don't let xp look for them)

"I've followed directions, but even though it supposedly is installed now, the properties/logitech video settings state there is a LPT port error, and "Device Cannot Start" is the message in Device Manager (WinXPPro). So no picture ( What To Do?"

"This driver brought back my old webcam from the basement. Didn't think it would ever work with XP but it does! I would recommend turning off auto brightness and hue if you are using MSN 6 though, as it crashes if you have it set to auto. Otherwise, perfect. Thanks to the author so much."

"I made this driver 2 year ago. My cam was working in xp almost 2 years. I made it working by mixing drivers from old drivers for cam nt and win98 and now I see that someone else did that. I think he did same thing. I only cant turn off safely remove hardware icon thats really making me crazy. I put info how people to make driver but not here only in my local forum on serbi

"After using the CD to install the drivers and software under winxp, the quick cam uses LPT1 as the port and so your never able to use the quick cam. "First seemed to work fine, but later caused serious system crashes/hangups due to USB conflicts so that I had to remove the Quickcam VC and the driver. Avoid Logitech products for the lack of customer support. Is it so difficult to write a new driver since 1999?"
