"Sony Handycam (mini) DCR-H26 on O/S Win2000Professional, did not recognise the video camera. Drivers loaded okay, followed the instructions from the txt file, downloaded twice."

"The driver did not unpack at all, was not a Win32 application. I had a similar driver on my hard drive with the same name and the same size. It unpacked well and installed also. BUT, no recognition of the Sony DCR-TRV18E occurred in the Explorer :-("

"This driver seems to be the one that was shipped with the original Sony Driver CD. Works well with USB2.0, but MiniDV cams are best used with Firewire"

"Sony miniHandycam (video camera) DCR-HC26. Drivers downloaded using the txt file for supporthelp. Then a Sony software unpacked very quickly into the Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs placed as a driver.

Need the Sony software!

Will keep looking"
