Unpack the ZIP file, then execute the EXE file in order to install the driver.


AntiVir identifies a Virus in the SCM software

1. The antivirus application Antivir falsely identifies a trojan in the program structure of the Icon-Installer Software. This is an error / a missinterpretation of the Antivir software. It is not a product fault of the Icon Installer software.

2. The Icon Installer software is not necassary for the operation of the cardreader. It works fine with your system without installing it.

3. The Icon Installer software can be removed from the system after the installation.

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
