"This driver works very well with an old spaceball 2003C and solidworks 2005/winXP. I've also used it with Unigraphics NX4, winXP and 2003c spaceball without any problems."

"The "readme" notes cover some of the issues that WinNT users might experience (mouse driver conflicts on serial ports) that earlier HP white papers have covered in detail (see HP.com site -- search "SpaceBall").

This is overall the most versatile of the SpaceTec/SpaceWare (now 3DConnexion/3DxWare) downloads that I've come across.

"Installed using a Serial to USB converter on a Dell Inspiron 9300 with WinXP MultiMedia and SpaceBall 2003 Serial. Works well for all programs I've tried which has included SolidWorks 2006, Inventor 10 and Rhino 3."

"This driver works great with my old Spaceball 2003 FLX. Combined with the 3DxSolidWorks_v2-4-2_win32.exe driver for SolidWorks my Spaceball 2003 FLX works without any problems in SolidWorks 2006!"
