"this download would not install on my machine, which is a x32 - driver is for x64 ...

HOWEVER, the recommended download for my Intel® 82801EB PCI Bridge – 244E (V8.2.0.1012_WHQL_.zip) and successfully updated both my (1)Intel® 82865G\PE\P Processor to I/O Controller–2570 and

(2)Intel® 82865G\PE\P Processor to AGP Controller – 2571"
