"Im working with windows nt server 4.0 It has all scsi drives. I added a sony cdrom and it is not recognized. It appears in the boot up but not in windows. Please comment."

"David, If you are a computer builder like you state, you would have known that there are no Windows drivers for cd-rom drives. This driver is for Dos and Windows 3.1, not for Windows 9x or higher.... Those os's provide support natively for ALL ide/scsi drives. You should also relize the older 8/16 bit dos drivers will cause problems in a 32 bit os like Windows 9x or hig

"When reading the readme.txt from this download, it listed about 10-12 CDROM's that this driver was used for. The CDU611 was NOT one of the models listed. I'll try it anyway to see what happens and try to get back to comment..."
