"I attempted to load the driver, but no model numbers were listed to select. Is it missing from your download? or Am I supposed to do something extra out of the ordinary. I have loaded drivers before, but had no joy with this download. I also attempted it on a Windows 98 system and had the same results as the XP...No models listed to select. Can you please help?"

"Everything whent well, but, modem wouldn't work until I chose "Port: COM3"

I had tried other drivers for fb pctel amr, and they didn't work on my winxp. So I pulled the modem out of my PC, looking for other identification. The ID tag said fb pctel amr, but when I turned the modem over, I saw v1.2 stamped in white, which brought me to this driver.

"Upgraded a PC-Chips M748LMRT system to WinXP... this driver worked great for the onboard HSP56 modem! No special tricks to install... just went to Device Manager, clicked on Upgrade Driver, and pointed to the location where I'd saved the download."
