"Run the Exe --> note where saved --> run setup.exe from that spot --> printer installed. No need to "add the printer" it is already there.

"I was able to simply double click the setup application and got the program install my printer. Could not achieve this same goal by directing the XL installer to the proper site. Thanks for your help."

"Note Jim Sweeney's ML4500(English).exe, is identical to Simon Webb's 20010927112109ML4500(English).exe Works with my XP Home, when the original driver included with the printer caused a blue screen. Thanks!"

"I'm trying to install this driver on the 4500c (scans/copies/prints) and still no-go. Keeps finding new hardware, and saying driver won't work. I don't see the *.inf file in any of the directories."

When the printer is found on a reboot in Device Manager, choose the install routine that allows you to go down the "HAVE DISK" option. "I was dismayed to find out my ML-4500 didn't work with XP! But thanks to this driver, it worked. Note this is an executable you must run, not a bunch of files you point your XP installer at. Thanks Simon!"

"It didn't work for me. I have an acer labtop and im trying to attach my samsung ml 4500 printer and it won't print the pages. Its sending from the computer but won't print anything out? Computer is recognizing the printer but not printing out any information??? Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated please and thank you."
