"i have a gd-2500 i salvaged out of an old aptiva and the ibm motherboard had all the drivers for it i downloaded all the gd-2500 files for xp that this site and not ONE has worked so don't waste your time...if you're looking for decoders, you're better off buying windvd for only $10...if the rom doesn't work at all, spend the $30-$40 on a new one. it's not worth reformatti

"OK i needed this driver for win2k (windows 2000) because a power loss left this fiel corrupt. thank you. for more info on this file www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/n1037897748i also used a cd-rom boot disk to run scandisk, partition and even file edit (on all os's). that was from www.ebcd.i-am.ru (more boot disk options can be found at well... www.bootdisk.com)&quo

"On an XP system, this file is located within the Windows directory, in the following subdirectory system32/drivers I don't know if anything else is required to install the file other than to place it into the correct subdirectory."
