"This works great on Lucky Star 6ALX2 Motherboard. Bios now reads 1/10/00. Now supports larger HD, tested it with a 80GB HD no problem. Thanks to the user who uploaded it. Great for older system needing to this upgrade since Luckystar is not providing it."

"This works for me, but, and it is a big one, do not use this without using the correct awardflash program for your board. PS. the uniflash program that is recommended above actually overwrote stuff I couldn't recreate, so be carefull!"

"Worked just the man said: including the (false) error message. Note that you need to boot the PC with DOS - NOT Windows, and that when the FLASH prog. asks for the FLASH UPDATE file, don't forget to add the .BIN extension - otherwise you'll be told "Can't find file"!

Apart from that, all worked 100% O.K. / Can recommend."

"This bios works great with Lucky Star (6ALX2) board. The Uniflash utility was used to update the flash ( 9jd8-a.bin ) and both performed successfully."

"Well I'm happy for all people that download the similar bios from www.bios-lucky-star.tk/ since 18/07/2003 ... it was download on october 2002 before oficial site turn off. now can sombody halp me to find the bios 693nv4.bin of mobo lucky star 6v693n can help me? Please send me a mail -)"

"It worked fine. It solved the USB controller not starting in win XP problem i was having, and can over-clock a PII 333 to 500+ supposedly. However it also had a side effect of playing havoc with my AGP card. To solve this I had to download the latest drivers for the card (18.4 MB!) but everything is fine now. go for it. But use UNIFLASH!"

"Flashed as said. Now it perfectly works with a 366 CPU altough the 'unknown CPU ID' appears - but who cares? It _works_ !!!"

"The BIOS worked almost perfectly, it detected the new 80GB HD and windows booted fine. But on the bootscreen a flashing text appeared saying "Unknown CPU ID", no biggie though )"
