"Saitek doe not support this joystick on Windows 2000 or on XP. Saitek has some bland excuse. The driver is a Windows 95. This joystick is much better designed and more functional than the new Saitek joystick. I would gladly pay Saitek $10.00 for XP software. They are loosing my support by not supporting a 6 year old joystick that cost over $135.00."

"don't panic, ppl

there is no virus (checked on Sep. 14th 2005)

it works, but as stated on the support site of saitek it won't work with NT-derivates such as Win2k or WinXP

if you want to use this you'd have to setup a win98-system"

Its a start
Tested on Windows 10 x64

"The X36 although old works great. The driver pack helps if you can get windows to give up trying to update certain parts. Once fully installed and configured the stick works and is fully functional. I used mine through an old Sound card on a Z170-A motherboard, most staisfying to go back in time."
