This is the latest official BIOS update (AmiBios, dated May 14, 2002) for M755L[MR] v5.xx motherboards that fixes the VGA memory allocation bug. (Until this update, you probably couldn't allocate more than 32 MB of system RAM to the onboard VGA, which wasn't very nice.)

Unzip the file and you'll get the flash utility (aminf342.exe) and

the update (020514s.rom) file. Boot your system in the DOS mode (using a boot floppy), then put in another

floppy containing the flasher and the update file and enter aminf342 020514s.rom to flash the new BIOS.

ATTENTION! There is a BIOS tag incompatibility issue with this update. Just as you start the update by entering the above command, the program checks if the new BIOS tag coincides with the old one. You might get a warning that says the

How to Install a driver from Device Manager
