"No luck with my XP. I am using a Primax 4800.

Somewhere on driversguide, there is a driver for my scanner (same as Colorado). I have had success before with that elusive driver. Maybe it was this one and it's just my XP install that is the problem"

"work on Vista RC1

i try to install my colorado 2400p from the original CD but not work. I download and copy this DLL file in c:\Windows\System32 and it´s work fine"

"How can u use this .ds file in XP? It asks for an .inf file. I badly need a driver for my Primax 4800 Direct :-S"

"The setup.exe for these drivers downright REFUSE to run, let alone provide a working scanner! Its obvious these are 16bit applications and are not compatible with windows XP full stop."

"Get the driver from www.primax.nl this file gives you just Italian language on the panel when you start scanning. Put in \windows\twain_32\opticpro. The primax one is english. the driver for nt/XP is c4824nt.exe Could not get color scanning to work but this can be something else than driver."
