"I have a Newmotion combo external hard drive with USB/firewire connection. The Newmotion Combo driver I downloaded includes a folder labelled Firewire with no files in the folder"

"The 2K driver worked for the USB connection with Windows XP, but I'm having some Delayed Write failures. Not sure if it's due to the driver (since it wasn't made for XP) or if something's wrong with the hard drive. I've read somewhere that if you use the FireWire connection, you won't need the driver at all. If that's true, I'll be heading out to buy a FireWire cable short
