"I tired the ENF656-PCI-MOPR driver first without success even thought he modem was marked as such. I tried this driver and it worked. I hate winmodems and especially Agere/Phoebe modems since they vary the versions of modem drivers so much that it doesn't matter what the modem is marked. It's hit or miss with these."

How to Update Motorola SM56 Voice Modem Serial Wave Device Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

How to Install a driver from Device Manager
