"The firmware driver solved the problem I've been having for some time between my LG-CED8120B CD-RW, Windows XP OS & Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 software. However, because Windows XP doesn't provide a format for a DOS bootable floppy, (or maybe that is another problem I was having) it was difficult to find a site that does. "This is NOT a Driver for Windows XP but it is the Firmware to update the drive.There is a later one on LG's Website but unless you know what you are doing you will destroy your DVD Player"

"it did nothing, went through the process excactly and XP still won't accept the driver. why am I jumping through hoops to get a driver compliant with XP..this is ridiculous"
