"There is no way to tell if these drivers (for alaris quickvideo weecam) are for the USB or Parallel Camera. I downloaded several and only found 2 that were for the correct hardware."

"Could not install this driver as it is for the parallel port version of the camera; mine is USB. Alaris is gone. Talkway.com was giving out this camera as a promo and has the latest drivers as a public service, but they only work on WinXP GA and earlier; SP1 doesn't work and SP2 blue-screens when the camera is plugged in."

"It is a shame that Earthlink entices you with this cheap Poor excuse of a web cam. I have had nothing but problems with it since I use Windows XP. Earthlink will do nothing to help, and Alaris is history. I Will NEVER support Earthlink any more. Be warned: If you are a Earthlink customer, and they try to talk to you about high speed internet, beware! Check your Bills,

"My Weecam will simply NOT work. I downloaded your drivers and followed your instructions word for word. The problem I encountered was after I hooked up the Weecam again and started windows up again. You said that XP will find new hardware, but mine didn't. I ran the setup wizard and got the same response, "hardware not detected". I have no idea what the problem is, pl

"I did NOT download this because of the negative comments posted. I need a driver that will work with XP for the weecam by Alaris. It is an older web cam with number: BHB 9AA on the back followed by 28450."

"It works fine but a new web cam is recomended, It just shows that it still works with keyboard interphase. Drowback, each time you IPL (boot) you are told that a new Nard-ware was detected and have to cancel it."

"I have a little camera for video email, I got free from earthlink and sprint when I had earthlink account I hope that this driver will help me get connected. This has a usb connection. Which download should I use? Earthlink said that this camera was from alaris company."

"I tried all 7 drivers on 2000 and XP, and they all failed. I found a friend with the original earthlink disk and used the "oem v 1.23a" and it rocks on both 2000 and XP. So I uploaded it here. Look for the OEM version."
