"For ISA modem, just remove jumpers (all) for COM selection, restart comp, and XP found it like pnp, work for me fine, thanks anyway!"

"Increiblememnte quizás para Uds. siempre cuando escribo las 3 letras de verificación y señalo como destino de la descarga mi disco duro, cuando acciono la tecla de descarga, mi Servidor me desconecta de la página. De todos modos, en computadoras que tienen Internet autorizado, he pedido hacer algunas de las descargas que he necesitado y me han trabajado bien"

"I removed the jumpers from the card and allowed it to pnp. The hardware wizard didn't pickup the driver using the automatic option probably because it’s not supported so I clicked back to the point where I chose Install from list or location. This worked it came up as COM3 and was able to query in diagnostics."

"I haven't thoroughly tested it but the driver seems to work. Since XP didn't recognize that COM2 (as I had my board jumpered) was a modem, it took me a while to figure out how to use the install hardware wizard with a disk for a device it thought was perfectly OK."
