"Finding a suitable driver for outdated equipment can be difficult. DriverGuide makes it easier by doing the searching for you, but some devices never had a suitable driver written for a specific OS. "This driver is bad.. I had to set my IP by dhcp on my router to get exactly that ip which I wanted to set. When I tried to set IP/mask/gateway manually in WinME the system won't boot-up.."

"No problem. Just plug in the adapter and point the Found New Hardware wizard to where the folder with the driver is installed"

"Installed the driver and it appears to work. However, this particular adapter appears to be non-functional as it detects that the cable is not connected. Tried this on two different Dell notebooks (different models, one an Inpiron 5100, and the other a Latitude D620). Therefore, unsure if the driver actually works."
