Additional Notes

This is actually the Windows 2000 DTC3181 driver, tweaked so that Windows XP is happy that it is the correct driver for a DTC436e card. Works great for my Epson GT8500 scanner. Hope it works for you.

"It didn't work well - locked up the system. I had to boot in safe mode and remove hardware/driver. Settings on the card were PnP and 0ws. Will move back to PnR with 0ws, and forego the driver. I'm told that it will work without the driver. I'm attempting to connect a UMax scanner."
