Finding a driver for this sound card that worked with XP was extreamly dificalt I tried several and I mean SEVERAL drivers from multipal sources. This driver probobly works with most if not all CS4281 chipsets on XP.

"This is really a driver for the realtek rtl8018 nic and should be so labeled but it covers most os's and installed correctly (Some network cards are also mislabeled in-so-far as if you only have the label on the ic chip to go by you would never know it was actually a realtek nic)"

"Installed it on a Thinkpad X20. During the OS upgrade (W2K to XPPro) this driver was not included in the OS, IBM or Crystal Semi support sites. I let the Hardware Wizard pick up the file, I did not go through Setup! for what that is worth!"
