"My unsucesfull attemps may be attributed to the fact that the device being installed and my 98x technology may not be compatible. Thus, I encourage all to try any driver if you believe it may fit, rather than based solely on anothers history withthat driver."

"PERFECT!!! My Sony DCR-HC26 Mini DV Handycam is now sending audio and video to Windows Movie Maker 2.1 (Under XP Pro SP2) thru the USB cable. And I didn't have to Pay Sony $30 for what SHOULD be free on their website. Many thanks to the uploader and to DriverGuide!"

"I apreciate Edward's offer - I agree that SONY has some nerve charging $40 (w/ship'g) for a product I already bought (but misplaced).

But this is a .RAR file(?). WinXP's Scanner/Camera installation wizard doesn't recognize it. How do I install this file?"
