"Living in South Africa. This driver works 100% with Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 and the SigmaTel USB-IR Adaptor. The original driver did'nt work with Windows 2000 at all - you need a file "Q252795_W2K_SP3_x86_en.EXE" from Microsoft, but can only install it in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2. With SP3 and SP4 it cannot be installed."

"Hi, I live in Australia and purchased a USB to IrDa adapter by auction from the States. I could not get it to work with any of the Drivers that came with it. But boy this one worked.

By the way I installed it on XP."
