"This driver works great with Windows ME.

(1) You simply unzip the file, point Windows

Update Driver to the file and it installs.

(2) New Hardware - Have Disk would work.

(3) Windows detects unzipped driver files

on start Up as well."

"Trying a different Video Card was Having Bios Problems and had some Old cards Nedded Drivers and this is the best Place for drivers IF you Have them PLEASE Upload them for Prosperity,to help others."

"The driver required 4 extra files that were not present.

I had to find an unzip program to make it work.

I recompiled the driver zip file with the extra files, and I created a self extracting executable which I submitted on this site entitled: CL_5430.EXE."

"There are information on how to save the file which is really simple but as far as installing the file itself that has 15 subcomponents, there are nothing at all to guide you!"

"The Spanish Web Site www.TQM.8m.com/drivers which did have drivers for older Cirrus Logic Cards and was using isdcorp.com to host them now no longer has anyone to host them, for isdcorp.com has been taken over by lynuxworks.com and provides now drivers for this chipset. You could check the Spanish site to see if they have hosted any drivers elsewhere but I think driverguid
