"Downloaded this driver after trying a bunch for a Creative Soundblaster AudioPCI 64V (identified using Everest Home Edition). This was the only one to work for my NEC Valuestar VC667J/3 PC running WinXP SP2. I also installed the other 2 files as mentioned in the Readme file. Seems to play audio files / windows sounds without any problems. Thanks to the uploader I now have

"This driver works great for a Twinhead P88TE laptop using the Creative Labs EV19X80 chipset. I have tried numerous drivers claiming to work and none have for windows xp. This was Tested with SP2, Celeron 366mhz no probs so far...

What can i say, great upload shame the wavesets wasnt included but not hard to find...."

"This driver works fine for a Sharp PC-MJ120M Notebook/Laptop using the Creative Labs EV1938 sound chips. This was Tested with Windows XP SP1, Pentium III 450mhz.

"I have an Liftec (=Medion) notebook from Germany, bought in Holland in 2000 with Creative EV1938 soundchip that dousn't work on Windows XP.

Someone wrote in this site about the Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI 64V (EV1938): "DOWNLOAD THE ONE WITH A 15MB FILE SIZE, THAT WORKS PERFECT ON XP."

Where can I find it?"

DOWNLOAD THE ONE WITH A 15MB FILE SIZE, THAT WORKS PERFECT ON XP."

"Great! It works on my PC-FJ140R. My OS is Japanease WindowsXp. I needed two other files (Eapci4m.ecw & Eapci8m.ecw) from EV1938 chip vender to let this driver to work."

"Ive tried getting this card (creative labs /ectiva ev1938) running under three different os's win98, xp pro and linux. I think I hate this card cause it still isnt working. the driver may or may not work, it installs ok and says its working fine, but as with all other os's there is no sound."
